My foot
Ok, my foot is still hurting, I am so worried that it might be something bad. I didn't go run this morning and was going to stay off of it maybe even until Sat. Well the weather tonight was so great that I took a leisurely stroll with the dog, I could feel some discomfort.... I don't know if I should just completely stay off of it until Sat. I don't know if I need new shoes, or I had tied my shoes too tight, or its my muscle or bone.... I just don't want it to get any worse. I think I will go to fleet feet tomorrow and see what they say.... I was so hoping to do really good (for me) this weekend, now I just hope I can finish.

I am on my 2nd pair of shoes. Bought first pair back in Feb. I am paying more attention to the tying of my shoes these days, and the shoe tongue too. I have found that if its just not perfectly comfortable, then the top of my foot suffers for a LOONNNNGG time afterwards. I loosened the laces, more down towards the toe, and yanked the tongue over more to one side, and now that 2nd pair of shoes is PERFECT. It took wearing them on two sessions to figure it out. I was about worried before, that I had bought a bummer pair of 2nd shoes. Not so now, with the adjustments I made.

I think you might need to go to a doctor and get it xrayed as well as going to Fleet Feet!!!
Ann, you may want to go see Wayne Jimenez the physical therapist, that Mark sees and recommended to us. He is over on Fortification right behind the Mexican restaurant we went to after the 5K. He is a runner and knows a whole lot about FEET. I saw him today and really liked him. Good luck. Cheryl

Ann, Wayne is great. He has helped both Jill and me. Hopefully it's something simple like shoes. i'd see him first and thwn go to a doctor if Wayne cannot help.
