8 Miles...oh Wait..9 Miles

All ready for my 7.5 or 8 miles today. I did not do good and thought I had done REALLY bad when I got back and saw my time. Luckily we had gone 9+ miles instead of 8. I had a terrible week as far as preparing for today. I only walk/ran Tues/Wed/THurs. 2 miles each day.... that is terrible. I had a big total of 1 (one) yes 1 glass of water... last night. I bought a big bag of mixed chocolates (hershey's kisses (my Fav), reese's and hershey's miniatures. I have just about completely finished the WHOLE bag. So hopefully this is my week to be terrible. I have been stretching so my groin would not hurt so bad.... evidentely not near enough. I have GOT to do some strength training for that. Hopefully this week will be better all around, eating, exercising and drinking water. That is a MUST considering we have 16 miles Sat (or so Mark says). Have a great week everyone. Ann

Your week sounds exactly like mine did! (Except I was a little better with the water), but I even went and bought a bag of chocolates. I was eyeing the bag that you were talking about, but went for the dark chocolate truffles...mmmmm.....4 pieces are 220 calories!!! CRAZY, but yummy! You looked good out there today--you always look so cute!

And you asked where the play is--it's at my church in Byram. Hillcrest Baptist.

Have a good week.

Tomorrow is a new day and we have to take one day at a time. Don't beat yourself up for last week; just start fresh tomorrow. You can do it!

Well, I've been into the chocolate, too. Right now I'm keeping Kissables in my desk drawer at work. Somehow, I manage to eat less of them than I do things that I have to unwrap!!!! But I do love my Hershey's chocolate in any shape or form. I do think it might be good for runners--at least their psyches.

Ann--the website with the video is newbalanceconnections.com--if you go to debra's blog (f-stop), she has a link that you can click on. But you can just type in the above address. you have to sign up and become a member, but it's free. And they send you emails and training tips and such.

Have you tried adding crystal light or propel to your water to make it easier to drink? When I don't drink enough water, my muscles hurt quite a bit, without me even running. hydration may help with your aches.

have a great week!

I've not been eating, drinking and training very well either. Last week I was VERY BAD actually! This week I will do better. But really, who can resist chocolate??? And I've heard it's actually good for you!
